I believe that The Last Resort season 2 star Natalie Mordovtseva is playing up her delusion with Josh and attempting sympathy online for attention. After Natalie’s first marriage to Mike Youngquist on 90 Day Fiancé failed, she moved on to a relationship with Josh Weinstein on The Single Life.

However, their relationship seemed incredibly transactional. Josh would help Natalie move to Los Angeles and become an actress/model. Despite Natalie wanting to marry Josh, he did not see their relationship as serious whatsoever.

The couple began seeking therapy on the new season of The Last Resort. Here, the drama would immediately strike when co-star Sophie Sierra revealed Josh’s DMs to her. Josh had invited Sophie to Las Vegas and denied him and Natalie being in a committed relationship.

After episode 3 where Natalie learns about the news and gets into a fight over this, Natalie took to Instagram. There, she revealed that she and Josh are no longer together. She also claimed that he and the rest of the cast wrongfully mistreated her. This included the TLC production team making Natalie out to be the villain of the season.

90 Day Fiancé: Natalie Views The Messages Between Josh and Sophie and “Apologizes”

On the latest episode of The Last Resort, Sophie allows Natalie to view Josh’s controversial DMs herself. Natalie went to rejoin the other women on the show in an attempt to apologize for her explosive behavior in episode 3.

However, Natalie still comes off as confrontational whenever Josh is brought up. “Yes he’s my man, and you have yours” Natalie responds to Sophie after she is confronted about allegedly touching Rob Warne’s arm, who is Sophie’s husband.

Natalie is not genuine in her apology to her co-stars. She blames her behavior on the fact that she was bullied growing up. However, as the other women point out, being bullied does not cause someone to explode as Natalie does, nor excuse it.

Natalie also completely switches gears the second Sophie brings up other actions that Natalie did wrong. Even if these claims are not true, her behavior still comes off as disingenuous.

90 Day Fiancé: The Preview for Episode 6

 

The preview for the next episode reveals a lot about Natalie’s true nature. We see Josh return to the resort, but Natalie looks ready to confront him with his messages to Sophie.

However, we already know how this is going to turn out. In the preview, we see the couples do a kayaking challenge. There, we see Natalie and Josh working together and cuddling up with each other during the group therapy session. Natalie even bad-talks Sophie just like she did before in episode 2.

Natalie is most likely going to forgive Josh in the next episode, but I think this is on purpose. Natalie has been very open about wanting to become a famous model, actress, etc. She overall loves and craves any attention she can get.

This is likely the reason why she has been so open on Instagram about her feelings against Josh and the cast. As mentioned before, her relationship with Josh was already transactional. Why not get some more attention by playing up your delusion/villain arc by staying with him?

Natalie is also incredibly jealous of Sophie. Before Natalie knew about Josh’s messages, she was already badmouthing Sophie and will continue to. She had even spread the rumor online of Josh and Sophie having an affair with each other.

It’s clear that Josh is a manipulative jerk when it comes to his lies about his messages, but Natalie isn’t far off. Despite her painting a picture of sympathy online, her actions will continue to scrub her facade away.
