From what’s revealed in the current season of The Last Resort, the couple have a lot of issues. One of the most significant and likely reasons for a breakup is Julia’s refusal to have a child with Brandon.

While the couple shared their journey across Europe after The Last Resort was filmed, they seem to be going through some major marital issues currently. During Christmas, Brandon posted about spending Christmas with his family.

Meanwhile, Julia was posting about not being in much of a mood for the holidays and spending it by herself. The issues only seem to become more apparent from here.

On January 3rd, 2024, Julia posted about her house-hunting trip to start 2025. She captions the post, “good morning, I’m going to look at houses, wish me luck,” with a prayer emoji beside it.

Julia doesn’t give a lot of information here, but it looks to imply a separation between her and Brandon. Brandon is nowhere in sight and his Instagram story leaves more room for speculation.

On the same day as Julia, Brandon posted his own story on Instagram. Once again, there isn’t much to see here. However, we see Brandon working out at the gym presumably while Julia is house hunting.

While he could’ve worked out at the gym prior, the timing is still strange. It’s heavily implied that Brandon would rather be away from his wife instead of helping her. Aka, Brandon doesn’t want to help Julia leave him.

The cryptic stories that both Brandon and Julia are posting could mean a lot of different things. Julia has shown lots of obvious signs of current marital troubles. She has been looking relatively unhappy for the past few days in her stories.

She also hasn’t mentioned her husband at all and constantly makes herself look like she’s alone. The house search now just looks like the nail in the coffin for these two.

As for Brandon, he usually doesn’t post much on social media. The last times he would post would be about spending Christmas with his parents and his time on The Last Resort. Other than that, there isn’t much else to say other than he too doesn’t show his significant other.

Personally, I am not so convinced that the couple has split. It was only right when The Last Resort began airing that they suddenly began showing these signs. All of the couples on the show are held to NDAs, so they cannot be spreading signals of them being together or apart.

It’s more plausible that the couple could be doing this for more online attention as their issues unravel on the show. Then again, Natalie Mordovtseva has already broken her NDA by confirming her relationship status with Josh, so maybe Brandon and Julia are giving us a little more insight than we think.
