90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Scott Wern SLAMMED, Reacts After Surrogate Announcement – “LOVE the Hate”
After trying to get back with her when attempts with his ex-girlfriend Lis failed, the season would result in him staying single. Now with just him and his dog Ali, Scott was looking to have a baby to curve his loneliness in the future.
When Scott made his surrogate announcement, he requested anyone interested to reach out. He was specifically looking for someone that fit his Latin type.
He even considered going through the surrogate procedure artificially and sexually (whatever that means). Scott also went as far as to tag co-star Dr. April Carter to make an offer as his surrogate, but she thankfully declined. Now things have escalated with Scott confronting the supposed attention that his announcement created.
90 Day Fiancé: Scott Calls Out Reddit Users and 90 Day Blog Writers
On January 2nd, 2024, Scott made several stories confronting the backlash his New Year’s resolution created. In Scott’s first story, he calls out Reddit users with, “Good press, Bad press..it’s all press! Thank you for everything you do!”
Interestingly, Scott hasn’t been mentioned in either of the two largest 90 Day Fiancé Reddit communities (r/90DayFiance and r/90dayfianceuncensored) for several months.
Just two hours later, Scott posts another story calling out 90 Day Fiancé blog writers. Scott elaborates on his caption in how his Instagram stories are him thinking out loud. “Stories are me thinking out loud and when I think out loud, I throw it out there, and a lot of times they write about it.”

At first, this sounds like another callout to Reddit users, but Scott continues. “Could I be irrelevant if they write about me every couple days? Don’t that seem like a contradiction because it would be clickbait and don’t they get paid for stories?”
While unclear, Scott looks to be responding to a claim that he isn’t relevant. Scott hasn’t been in the 90 Day franchise in over a year now.
A lot of Reddit users haven’t posted about him including not as many articles on most 90 Day news sites. However, his new surrogate announcement has sparked a little more attention recently, but not much compared to his co-stars.
Scott goes on to talk about how 90 Day blog writers talk negatively about him. “They follow everything I do and say and they write about it…they diminish it and put a negative spin on it and making me to be thirsty, pathetic, and cringy, but wouldn’t they be the thirsty and pathetic ones if they’re writing about me?”
Scott goes on to say that he wants people to keep talking about him including the co-stars that hate him.
90 Day Fiancé: Our Thoughts On What Scott Has to Say
Even with the surrogacy news, Scott isn’t becoming as relevant as he thinks. Not many outlets or fans have spoken about him after his time on Love in Paradise.
While the little attention he’s gotten from his New Year’s resolution has gone somewhere, it’s nowhere near the level of other current trending couples on The Last Resort or Before the 90 Days for example.
Also, Scott’s relevancy doesn’t benefit him much anymore. It could arguably help with finding a potential surrogate, but Dr. April’s response to the offer may shoot that down. Scott reposted Dr. April speaking on the attention she’s gotten lately.
“I’ve received a lot of DM’s about this surrogacy sh*t.” According to the doctor, half of the DM’s tried to convince her to take Scott’s offer while the other hated the idea entirely. April seemed overwhelmed by the attention but doubled down on her rejection.
I believe that the whole surrogacy situation, especially surrounding Dr. April is weird and creepy. The fact that Scott genuinely considered a supposed friend as a baby carrier online because she meets his criteria sounds insane on paper.
April’s DM’s might be where Scott got the idea about the negative attention and newfound relevancy he is receiving. However, even if Scott becomes relevant again, it will benefit nobody but us who write on it. So please Scott, keep talking.
