Both Julia and Brandon’s recent stories showcase opposite moods on Christmas this year. While Brandon made a post of him celebrating Christmas with his parents, Julia was home alone with her dogs.

She states that she hadn’t bought any presents for herself and isn’t in the “mood” to celebrate this year. While Brandon could have just gone to visit his parents for the holidays, the fact that Julia seems unhappy in her post speaks a lot about possible current conflicts between them.

While the couple did just go on a recent trip around Europe, that doesn’t solve their marriage issues. The latest episodes of The Last Resort may have caused some past arguments to resurface.

For example, Brandon was seen calling Julia some horrible names over how Julia was dressed and acting at the club. He even shamed her for being a go-go dancer in the past (despite that being how he met her).

There are also no signs of Julia getting or planning to be pregnant. Considering how focused Brandon was on this goal, it’s hard to believe that he has changed his mind entirely now.

The most frustrating part about this couple is how incompatible they are personality and lifestyle-wise. Julia is incredibly outgoing and eccentric while Brandon is more conservative and introverted. He wants Julia to be more like a traditional housewife despite meeting her as a working go-go dancer in Russia.

Brandon has been trying to change Julia into something she’s not for years and it’s never going to work. Unless Brandon takes the time to compromise with Julia, the two are more likely to be stuck in their troubled ways until they eventually break up for good.
