Fans recently noticed that several 90 Day Fiancé shows are among the 200 seasons of shows that Max has purged from the platform.

Pajiba reported (via Artistic_Dentist_622 on Reddit) that the platform has taken down 239 seasons of television, including numerous 90 Day Fiancé spin-offs, the first 46 seasons of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, 27 seasons of Ghost Adventures, several seasons of My 600-Lb Life, and many more. The list includes shows like 90 Day: The Single Life, 90 Day Bares All, 90 Day Diaries seasons 1-5, 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? seasons 1-7, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way seasons 1-5, and several 90 Day Journey specials for couples like Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi, and Colt Johnson and Larissa Lima.

What Max Removing Reality TV Shows Means For Fans

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.

It appears that the Discovery and HGTV-style content that once appeared alongside HBO and Max at the forefront of their streaming platform has now been pushed to the lower sections. In summer 2023, streaming platforms HBO Max and Discovery Plus merged for U.S. subscribers. Back in May 2023, HBO Max was officially reborn as Max, with more than twice the total amount of programming. However, the content still being available on Discovery Plus ensures that fans aren’t losing out on their favorite shows for good, at least for now.

Our Take On Max Removing 90 Day Fiancé & Other Reality Shows

Will Max Lose Its 90 Day Fiancé Fan Base With This Shocking Move?

Fans of 90 Day Fiancé may be disappointed as many spin-offs have been removed from Max. These shows are now only available on Discovery Plus or Hulu, meaning viewers might need extra subscriptions to keep watching. This change breaks up the full viewing experience and suggests Max is moving away from reality TV, leaving fans uncertain about the future of their favorite shows on the platform. With less reality content available, subscribers may rethink their commitment to Max.
