Coronation Street reveals trouble for new villain Megan Walsh tonight, as scheming Tracy McDonald may have already realised that sheâs not to be trusted. As the Weatherfield residents gossip over Meganâs strange behaviour at Bertie Osbourneâs birthday party, Tracy canât resist having her say.
Wednesdayâs episode sees Megan among the Barlow familyâs guests as they celebrate Bertieâs 7th birthday at No.1. Daniel Osbourne, whoâs currently dating Megan, is keen for his new love interest to be at the party now that their relationship seems to be getting more serious.
Thereâs trouble at the gathering when Alya Nazir asks Bertie to retrieve the birthday cake candles from her handbag. Bertie mistakenly looks through Meganâs bag instead and pulls out a pregnancy test for all to see.
Megan notices Danielâs shocked reaction and makes out that the test isnât for her, but she still storms out as sheâs annoyed by his response.
Feeling guilty over her part in the mix-up, Alya hurries after Megan to check on her.
âI got it for one of the girls at school,â Megan clarifies, needing an excuse for why she had the test. âThe look on [Danielâs] face, it was like his whole world had ended. It was like he was ashamed or something.â
Later, everyone heads to the pub â joined by Megan, whoâs willing to give Daniel another chance despite the pregnancy test fiasco.
When Alya catches Tracy up on the drama that unfolded earlier, she insists that it was all a storm in a teacup. But wily Tracy isnât so sure that Megan is telling the truth about the testâŚ
âAre you sure itâs not for her?â Tracy asks. âI mean, it doesnât look like sheâs drinking.â
Alya points out that this doesnât necessarily mean anything, but Tracy replies: âMark my words, though â thereâs something about herâŚâ
Tracy proved her detective skills last year when she was the first person to uncover Abi and Carl Websterâs affair. Could she strike again by exposing Meganâs deception?
Corrie fans know that Megan has been using her relationship with Daniel as a cover while she continues to groom local teen Will Driscoll.
