Y&R Star Hayley Erin Wants Summer to Return to Genoa City
Claire could renew her feud with Summer when her cousin returns.
Hayley Erin’s character Claire has made many enemies on The Young and the Restless. One of her first rivals was her cousin, Summer. The two were in a feud over Kyle’s heart, but their story was cut short by Summer’s departure. When and if Summer returns, Erin wants the cousins to pick up where they left off.
Claire vs. Summer: Round Two
When Claire joined the Newman family, not everyone was welcoming. Summer (Allison Lanier) showed no love to her new cousin after learning about Claire and Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) past crimes. Although Claire worked hard to redeem herself, that wasn’t enough to sway Summer’s opinion.
Summer’s hatred toward her cousin increased when Claire began dating Summer’s ex-husband, Kyle (Michael Mealor). As Claire became a fixture in Kyle and Harrison’s (Redding Munsell) lives, Summer’s jealousy reared its ugly head.
The two women butted heads as Summer became a thorn in Claire and Kyle’s relationship. Just as their rivalry was heating up, Summer left Genoa City to tend to business in Milan. Now, many are wondering when or if Summer will return.
