Monica and Tracy 💞 What’s to be said about two powerhouse women whose canyons of love for each other eventually ran equally as deep as the void of understanding and tolerance for one another once did. They both gave as hard as they received, whether it was good or bad. Both had hearts of gold filled to the brim with nothing but good intentions as far as their loved ones were concerned. Neither would waiver on their beliefs, direction, purpose, or intent with these types of matters. But eventually both realized they were playing for the same team albeit based on different strategies and game plans. They both realized that they ultimately had the same goals and agenda. We can learn a lot from them even though they’re just ‘soap characters’. Loyalty and love never die. And when these two things are the ties that bind, conversations and a meeting of the minds are not always just possible, but they’re pertinent for all involved. Hands down this is my most prized and cherished evolvement of a loving, respectful, and impenetrable bond created between two beautiful, fiercely loving, and loyal to the end relationships to ever be forged on this show. We’re not just saying goodbye to a character. We’re saying goodbye to every triumph, contribution, and example set for what a matriarch is supposed to be. It is up to Tracy to now carry that torch. And there’s not a single doubt in my mind that she’ll suceed at this monumental endeavor. Rest in peace , Monica, knowing that your successor is more than a force to be reckoned with. General Hospital will never be the same without your presence, but Tracy will see to it that your will always be done.
