The gangster is trying to redeem himself as a partner to his partner Priya Nandra-Hart and their kids Avani and Nugget. Ravi was responsible for a drugs scheme escalating to the point of Harry Mitchell being kidnapped by his henchman Okie.
Harry is furious with Ravi after pressuring him to sell drugs led to him relapsing, killing Okie and seeing his dad Teddy Mitchell taking the fall for him and being sent to prison. Things got so bad that Harry entered rehab before Christmas in an attempt to get himself back on track.
Returning to the BBC soap last week, Harry has been on a revenge mission. Caught by Nicola Mitchell stalking Ravi with a lead pipe, his mum assured him that they could get back at Ravi without Harry ending up in jail.
In scenes aired on Wednesday night (January 7), Ravi is left out when the rest of the family go for an interview with Suki and Eve’s adoption assessors. Ravi later heads to the Nicola’s pub Harry’s Barn to drown his sorrows.
Joined by Patrick Trueman, whose son Anthony was murdered several weeks ago, the pair talked about how they both believed they’ve failed as fathers. However, neither one of them agreed with the other.

Offering them drinks on the house, Nicola managed to spike Ravi’s drink with drugs as part of her plan. Ravi soon staggered outside, only for Harry to bring him to The Arches.
Once there, Harry lowered Ravi into a pit and appeared to be preparing to bury him. Just before he could move on to the plan’s next phase, Billy knocked on the door to remind Harry that they had plans to have a chinese together.

As Priya worried back home that she couldn’t find her partner, Ravi was left alone in the pit as he began to suffer hallucinations. In a shocking twist, Ravi’s dad Nish Panesar could be heard speaking to him a year on from his death.
Hearing footsteps, Ravi heard Nish saying: “There isn’t a light here son.” The episode concluded with Ravi cowering in terror screaming alone in the pit.
On New Year’s Day last year, Ravi killed Nish following years of Suki’s ex-husband terrorising her and Eve. Ravi pushed Nish, who was played by Navin Chowdhry, off of a balcony when he attempted to ruin Suki and Eve’s wedding day.
