Sister Wives Shock: You Won’t Believe What Maddie Brown Does For A Living! đ±
Maddie is a reality TV personality, but thatâs not all she does to rake in the cash. She worked as a Plexus ambassador, just like her mom. Plexus offers a ârange of products focused on every aspect of your health and happiness,â according to their website.
The TLC star tried her hand at podcasting, launching âThe Authentic Societyâ in November 2024 with friend and cohost, Jayme Byrd Langley. When announcing the project the month prior, the duo said they planned to âdive into the raw, real sides of womanhood, friendships, marriage, faith and the relationships that shape us.â During the first six episodes, Maddie often shared intimate details about her familyâs life.
Maddie explained to fans in a January 6, 2025, Instagram post that she was stepping away from the podcast, although Jayme would continue with the venture.
âIâve truly enjoyed the experience, learned so much, and am deeply grateful for the support from all of you. However, itâs clear this project no longer aligns with my goals or the vision I have for my future and my family,â she wrote.
Maddie went on to say that while she wasnât âclosing the door on podcasting forever,â she was focused on the birth of her fourth child and building her new business, Taeda Farms, with mom Janelle. âAll of these things are where my heart currently is and what I feel needs my focus right now,â she told fans.
Janelle intends on moving to North Carolina to join Maddie and her husband, Caleb Brush, to embark on Taeda Farms. She purchased 159 acres of land near Chocowinity, North Carolina, in 2024, where she and Maddie plan to build a flower farm and nature-based community.
Their mission statement on the Tadea Farms website said the mother-daughter duo plans on âtransforming our land into a sanctuary where every bloom and every leaf tells a story. More than just a venue, Taeda Farms will be a haven for community, where people gather to reconnect with nature and each other.â
She explained how Sister Wives saved her family financially during the December 9, 2025, episode of âThe Authentic Societyâ podcast.
âBefore the show, we were very poor,â Maddie revealed. âI think my dad made decent money, but you have, like, 15 kids. Like, a lot of kids.â
âI think that we inherit so much of our thought process around money from our parents. My dad always chose the get-rich-quick scheme, almost always. It was such a foreign thought to Caleb. And I remember explaining some ideas to him, and he was like, âNo, no,ââ Maddie continued about her views on finances.
The reality star shared how she and her husband were working towards âfinancial stabilityâ thanks to the way he was brought up.

âWe did a lot of work on that together, because [the] poverty mindset is such an interesting thing, especially when it comes to money,â she said. âBecause when we got our tax returns when we were younger, my parents immediately spent it on something. And Calebâs family were both educated, and they did not. They saved it. They saved every penny that they could.â
âI remember saying to Caleb about seven years ago, âYou know whatâs weird? Itâs realizing that there is no [getting] rich quick,ââ Maddie recalled. âAnd I knew it, but I think actually saying it out loud, it was such a weird concept.â
Maddieâs husband is Caleb Brush, whom she wed in June 2016. The couple relocated to North Carolina the month after their wedding. The TLC star penned a sweet tribute to her hubby of nearly seven years while marking his birthday in a January 2023 Instagram post.
âHappy Birthday to the love of my life! 36 never looked so good!,â she captioned a video montage. âI hope this year is the best yet! Thank you for all you do for our family! Iâm so amazed every day that I get to do life with you! Thank you for the love you give! Thank you for being such an amazing dad and husband! We are beyond blessed!â
As far as her husbandâs profession, Maddie proudly shared what he did for a living in a November 2024, Instagram Q&A.
âCaleb is an elevator mechanic. He was promoted to mechanic earlier this year. It is a 4-5 year apprenticeship and then tests and classes along the way,â she wrote.
Maddie and Caleb share three children together and have a fourth on the way as of January 2025. Their son, Axel, was born in May 2017. Daughter Evie came along in August 2019 and another daughter, Josephine, was born in February 2023. Maddie announced in September 2024 that she was pregnant with baby No. 4.

âWhat a wild year! Looks like 2025 might be a little crazy too!â Maddie captioned a September 29, 2024, Instagram post while cradling her baby bump. âBaby Brush #4 coming March 2025.â
In Touch exclusively broke the news in December 2022 that Janelle and Kody Brown â Maddieâs parents â split after nearly 30 years of spiritual marriage. âJanelle is a strong independent woman and realized she can do it on her own,â an insider told In Touch, adding that the mom of six âoutgrew him.â
Kody later confirmed their breakup in an episode of Sister Wives that aired that same month.
During part three of the Sister Wives: One on One tell-all that aired in January 2023, Janelle opened up about life post-Kody, admitting that she was âhappyâ despite their relationship not working out.
âIâm not waiting for him. Iâve kind of mourned that that part of our life is gone,â she explained during a private interview, noting that she and Kody had been separated for âmonthsâ at that point. âI wasnât heartbroken. It wasnât heartbreaking for me like it was for Christine [Brown]. I just mourned that that life was gone. We had a great run.â
